Who this notice covers
This notice covers ProfitBinder accounts, the private beta, public pages, support, and related service communications. ProfitBinder is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TCGplayer or eBay.
Information we collect
We collect the account email, selected marketplace, U.S. timezone, applicable seller type, store configuration, subscription and entitlement status, support messages, security records, and sanitized Marketplace order data needed to calculate profit. Order data may include order and item identifiers, sale dates, sold-item details, acquisition costs, marketplace-reported fees, postage, packaging, refunds, claims, payment disputes, and adjustments. Marketplace-collected sales tax is used only when needed to reconcile a transaction or calculate a supported fee and is excluded from seller revenue and profit.
We do not need buyer usernames, buyer names, buyer email addresses, phone numbers, complete street addresses, cities, states, or postal codes. Raw CSV files are parsed in your browser and are not stored by ProfitBinder. Buyer-identifying fields are removed before sanitized rows are sent to temporary import staging.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, import and reconcile orders, calculate and report profit, preserve seller corrections, enforce plan limits, process billing entitlements, provide exports and encrypted backups, deliver essential service email, answer support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and comply with law.
Advertising and other revenue
Financial, order, buyer, CSV, account, and behavioral data is not sold to advertisers and is not used for targeted advertising. ProfitBinder may later offer clearly labeled contextual advertising, sponsorships, affiliate links, partner offers, add-ons, or paid services. Contextual placements may use only the content of the current page, not customer data. A new channel will not be activated until its privacy, legal, provider, and customer-experience requirements are reviewed and this notice is updated when necessary.
Service providers
ProfitBinder uses service providers to operate the product. Supabase provides authentication, database, and Edge Function services. Paddle acts as merchant of record for paid subscriptions. Resend provides transactional email. Cloudflare provides bot protection and related security services. Sentry provides error reporting with sensitive fields removed and session replay disabled. Bluehost hosts the static site and email forwarding. Gmail is used to operate monitored support and security inboxes. GitHub supports source control and controlled operations.
Providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. ProfitBinder does not give them permission to use customer financial or order data for targeted advertising.
Retention and deletion
- Abandoned sanitized import staging expires after 24 hours.
- After subscription cancellation, the account remains available for viewing, reporting, and export for 12 months.
- Deletion warnings are scheduled 30, 7, and 1 day before the end of that cancellation-retention period.
- A separately requested account deletion has a 30-day recovery window before permanent purge.
- Encrypted operational database backups are retained for 30 days. Deleted data may remain in an encrypted backup until that backup expires.
- Paddle and other providers may retain billing, tax, fraud, and transaction records when required by law or their merchant-of-record obligations.
Security and international processing
ProfitBinder uses row-level access controls, least-privilege service access, encrypted transport, multi-factor authentication for owner-controlled services, privacy-filtered telemetry, encrypted backups, and tested account deletion. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
Your choices
You may review and correct account and order information in the app, export available data, cancel a subscription, or request account deletion. Essential security, billing, and service messages cannot be replaced with marketing messages. ProfitBinder does not send profit-summary or promotional email unless a separate, optional program is introduced with appropriate consent.
Age and changes
ProfitBinder is for adults operating an eligible U.S. Marketplace seller account and is not directed to children. Material changes to this notice will be dated, versioned, and presented before they apply when consent is required.
