Help and support

Simple answers for importing orders, understanding your profit, and getting help when you need it.

Start here

You do not need to be an accountant or spreadsheet expert. ProfitBinder is designed to walk you through four basic steps.

  1. Create your account.Choose TCGplayer or eBay for your U.S. marketplace store.
  2. Choose your order records.Use supported TCGplayer Marketplace records or matching eBay Seller Hub Orders and Transaction reports.
  3. Review what ProfitBinder found. The app checks the file before anything is saved and tells you what needs attention.
  4. Add any missing costs.Enter what you paid for the cards and postage. ProfitBinder then shows what you actually kept.

What file should I use?

Keep the original files downloaded from your marketplace seller portal. TCGplayer sellers should retain the ordinary Marketplace Order List plus matching sold-item, shipping, tax, and fee evidence. eBay sellers should download the Seller Hub Orders report and the all-columns Transaction report for the same date range. ProfitBinder checks the file type and required evidence locally before an order can be imported.

  • Do not use a TCGplayer Direct order file.
  • TCGplayer sellers should keep the matching Order Pull Sheet or other sold-item detail with the Order List.
  • TCGplayer sellers should keep per-order fee evidence when available. Sync sellers also need the actual provider fee.
  • eBay sellers must use matching Orders and all-columns Transaction reports covering the same date range.
  • eBay fees come from the Transaction report; ProfitBinder does not substitute TCGplayer fee rules.
  • U.S. destination and USD evidence must be present or explicitly verified before import.
  • ProfitBinder checks the file and shows problems before saving orders.
  • Your raw CSV is not stored. Buyer names, contact details, and complete addresses are removed in your browser.

What the profit labels mean

Confirmed

All required costs use actual values, or a verified marketplace-fee calculation is being used.

Provisional

The result is useful, but at least one cost is estimated. Replace estimates with actual numbers when you have them.

Unresolved

A required cost is missing. ProfitBinder will not pretend a missing cost is zero and show misleading profit.

Costs in plain English

Card or acquisition cost
What you paid to acquire the card or product that sold.
Postage
What you paid the carrier to mail the order.
Packaging
The cost of envelopes, sleeves, toploaders, labels, and other packing materials.
Marketplace fees
The selling fees charged by TCGplayer or reported by eBay for the order.

Common questions

My CSV will not upload. What should I check?

Keep the original headings and let ProfitBinder identify the file. A TCGplayer report that cannot be imported alone will explain which matching details are missing. For eBay, choose eBay report pair and supply both the Orders report and all-columns Transaction report for the same date range. TCGplayer Direct orders are not supported. U.S. destination, USD, sold-item detail, and fee evidence must be verified before a complete import.

Why does an order say Unresolved?

It usually needs the card cost or postage. Open the order, enter the missing value, and save it. If packaging is missing, ProfitBinder can use the default packaging amount you chose during setup.

Why does an order say Provisional?

One or more values are estimates. The result can still help you, but it is not marked Confirmed until the required values are actual or verified.

Can I upload the same order file again?

Yes. An unchanged duplicate is skipped. If an existing order changed, ProfitBinder updates that order instead of counting it as another new order. Your saved manual corrections are protected.

What happens when I reach my plan limit?

Only new-order entry pauses. You can still view, correct, report, and export existing orders. ProfitBinder does not automatically charge an overage.

Does ProfitBinder store buyer information?

ProfitBinder does not need buyer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or complete shipping addresses. Those fields are removed in your browser before order data is sent.
